Hey lovelies. It's been awhile! I thought I would post a quick Eye of the day for you all because I have not posted for over a week! Last night I went to a concert, Sunset Riot, and it was amazing. My husband knows the lead singer, Delacoma Rio. This is my eye look last night and I will be completely honest and say that I never washed off my eye makeup and it looked just as good as the day before. I used face towelettes for my face though.

Hello lovelies! I am glad to announce another brand that I was able to review for you. This brand caught my eye a while back and I found it again through facebook. The pictures and shop are so beautiful.
About ARC!

I'm a 24 year old nerd who started off in costume design. The costuming led to my introduction to the indie makeup scene. After being disappointed in the quality of some companies and drama involved with others I was left with pigments I couldn't use and a want to do something about it.This is where ARC was born. The idea started in about December of 2010. After two months and hundreds of hours researching I decided to create ARC using my favorite woman in history as our theme.I'm crazy insane about our cleaning/sterilization process and quality control. All of our pigments are mixed by hand in a mortar and pestle and we don't use Lake Dyes unless they already come in our mica supplies. Costuming has sadly taken a back burner but I think when we do photoshoots I'll be able to merge my two loves-ARC

What I got:

• The packaging is very cute and looked very professional and I am big on that! Very impressed. It seems like they really care about their customers. 
• The pigments themselves are very beautiful however I am not so sure if I am in love with the texture I feel when putting them on. 
• Cons-
• They do not seem as smooth as I thought they would be. Example, von Fersen was a bit hard to blend and can easily look muddy. I tried a few times just in case I was wrong the first time, but they do not go on as smooth as other brands.
•  Another thing I felt was that they were not as pigmented once you tried blending them. They seem very pigmented on your finger or when you first apply it on your lid. 
• I am just picky with pigments and I like ones that are easy to use.
• I will work with them some more and may do an updated review on the pigments, but that is what I got out of them as of now. I will be using these often though. 
• I also seem to have to use a lot of product to get the pigmentation that I want, which I did not like. 
• I am sad to have so many negatives. :( 
• Pros-
• The pigments did stay on for awhile, with eye primer, without fading which is a plus
• They are very pretty colors and the glitter is nice.
• You get a lot of product in the jars.
• Colors are buildable which can be a good thing for some. 
• The artfire shop is easy to navigate and her photos are really pretty! 
• There are a lot to choose from on the site.
• The customer service is great.

Alright. Let me just get this off my chest because I get a little annoyed at times when I see posts or giveaways like this...
I have done a few giveaways now that include extra entries. Although they can be boring and/or long to do, they also get the blog out there in the process. I believe this is a good idea ONLY if your blog has little followers and you just want some help getting your blog known.
However,
When you require a lot out of your followers such as saying "you MUST follow my facebook page, or "you MUST follow my on bloglovin" or " you MUST state this..." then that is a bit too much. That shows you do not care so much for your followers because they do not need to be required to do those things. Plus they may not have a facebook or youtube! They are following a blog not youtube! They decided to follow your blog in the first place and making them do extra effort in order for you to get more followers, is just selfish. YES, if you are giving away something, they should put some effort into it like maybe perhaps doing a blog post or do a contest where you have them submit a picture because some prizes are pricy, however if it's sponsored or if you have tons of followers, you should not have them do all of this extra time consuming tasks in order for you to get more followers.

I have done "extras" because I wanted to get the word out when I first started, actually my first giveaway did not have extras, but the next ones I wanted to get the word out a bit. But I did not require you to go to facebook or twitter or youtube....because that's just crazy. I am not going to force you to follow other things that you may not even look at again. My recent one doesn't even have extras!
What is the point of your blog? To write about beauty, not have your followers do extra work just to receive a prize that you decided to give away because you are thanking them for following you in the first place.
Calm down a bit on the entries!

My First Impressions:

• The website(her artfire) is very girly and glitter-tastic! Her photo is gorgeous! I saw that her pigments look unique and not the same old color. :) There are not a whole lot, but I am sure she is cooking some up as I type. (Correction she has more on her etsy shop!)
• When I got her package, it was just the five pigments and that's it. No wrapping and no logo on the top of the lids. On the bottom it says the name, brand, and what's in it, which is nice. I would have liked to see a logo because I am all about the packaging. However, the products are great!
• Customer service was great. She seems very sweet.
• The colors are gorgeous! What makes these pigments different from many I have reviewed? They are highly pigmented, and like the website says, you do not need a whole lot to make your eyes pop! The glitter is so fine and pretty.
• The pricing is slightly more than a few other brands I have reviewed. However, you can get SIX pigments for $18 and that is a great deal!
• Any cons? I honestly can't say I noticed any. They are so pretty, smooth, and very pigmented! 

• The pigments are very smooth and easy to work with. 
• My favorite pigment would have to be first kiss because of how glittery it is and it's so girly!
• Each pigment were very pigmented and I love how I do not need a whole lot to get the pop.
• I would love to try more colors from BFC!

I got my package today from Madd Style, my obsession. :) I got 10 clam shell samples and she sent me one baggie sample. :)

I have been thinking about a potential opportunity that may happen to me in the near future. It all depends if my husband gets into the police academy next year. If he does, we will be moving to California(where he is from) and I will go to Bellus Academy! It would be such a dream come true. The program I will choose focuses more on esthetics courses, but I will also be doing makeup along side that. I am going to be a makeup artist/esthetician! It hard to find good schools out there that are not in California. I have looked!

Right now I am just reading about makeup, playing with makeup, and reviewing about makeup. I want to do the real thing and get my hands dirty.

What I got:
Isn't this bag cute?!

• A full size pigment in Green Apples
• Full size creme lip gloss in Pomegranate
•  Sample size of lip gloss in Coral Reef
• 8 little sample baggies of pigments 

• The website: this is not a pretty looking site but it is easy to navigate. (She told me after this review was up that this is her shop and she does it herself. As well as the roses on her site were the inspiration of her name and such).
• The customer service: she was very nice.
• The lip glosses: these are nice and subtle. You can enhance the color a bit the more you put on but then it gets really messy looking. They have nice shimmer, and great taste! They also smell yummy. :) Also, they are very smooth and not sticky which is a huge plus! They do not stay on forever, but they do for a while.
• The pigments: these are really pigmented! I love how pretty and easy they are! Royal Violets is gorgeous and the photo does not give it justice! As well as Strawberries(a new color) and blushing! She has so many different colors and mattes. These are really easy to work with.
• The Packaging: the full size lip gloss is too cute! It is shaped as a flower. The pigments are taller than a lot of pigments I have but that does not matter. Also, her logo is very simple and not too eye catching. It has a little rose and her company name on the top of the lids.

Last thoughts:

Alright, I am excited to review this brand. Not only is it Vegan, but it is very great quality.

What I got:

• 6 full sized pigments in Deep Steel Teal, Fawn, Peach Ice, Midnight Plum, Orange Ice, and Creme Brulee.
• 11 bag samples of Lemon Ice, Evening Orchid, Shimmer, Angel Kissed Gold, True Gold, "Oh so metal" Antiqued Gold, Gold Dust, Honey Peach, Blue Ice Storm, Swiss Chocolate, and "Oh so metal" Antiqued Copper. 
• 2 eye shadow primers in Black and Buff.
• 1 sample of a gel eyeliner in Forest Nymph

• The Packaging- is very nice and simple. Not too pretty, but it shows how natural in nature these are. The lids are easy to open and they came nice and clean!
• The Website- it's easy to navigate and it's pretty. :)
• Customer service- she was very nice to me when she emailed me back!
• The shadows-I really liked what I got. These shadows are really smooth and pigmented. The lighter colors are more glittery than color, but they are very elegant. I would recommend this brand any day.
• The liner- I tried this on for the first time on 4th of july and it rained all day during the celebration and we went to our local town's park celebration. Through rain and sweating, this liner did not move an inch nor did it dull up. It was exactly how I put it on, not exaggerating. I was super impressed and want to get full sizes!
• The primers- these are very good. I love how I found a vegan product that works so well! They do not not crease if you do not over do it. They are smooth. One thing I found is that you need to warm them up with your finger because they are dry at first, but they warm up quickly. They blend so good!
