My hubby and I wanted to have a little Christmas of our own, and so we bought a little Christmas tree for our room. We live with his parents at the moment. His parents and us looked for a family tree and it's amazing!

I recently in the past couple of weeks bought two collections from STC, one being $45% off! I wanted more colors from this brand because she is one of my fav independent cosmetic brands. I like to represent them as much as I can, and also crossing my fingers because I want to someday be a promoter. :)

• White Chocolate in the tear duct area
• Milk Chocolate on the lid and blended into the crease
• Dark Swiss on the crease

I made a recent purchase with STC and I have been wanting her first collection since it came out a few months ago. It is all matte and beautiful neutrals!

One thing I love about independent cosmetic brands is that you know they care about their customers and highly unlikely have any problems getting your stuff like you do with bigger companies. I have a few places I want to shop during these days(Black Friday/Cyber Monday).

1. Madd Style Cosmetics (cosmetics brand)-probably going to get the new collection(I have no idea what she has up her sleeve.
2. Simply Sweet Skin (bath and body brand)- body scrub, body creme, and perhaps a lip honey.
3. Sweet Treat Cosmetics (cosmetics brand)- I may stop by there, however I just purchased the first collection she made which is the triple chocolate matte collection, and it should be here soon!

Those would be the ones I would buy from on the sale dates because these are my favorite inde brands so far. They have great customer service, great products, and great quality! I highly recommend trying all three of them out! Tell them I sent you if you like their facebook pages. :)

A couple of months ago I decided to try Cover Girl's foundation I use to wear back in 2007. I did not know much about makeup then; I've grown a lot since then.

I have been playing with all of my recent new nail polishes and it is quite relaxing. I never was a nail polish lover(as in used it that often), but I have grown to love them because I enjoy it more.

I hate it when I let me makeup storage get crazy and have makeup spread across my desk. Today I said to myself, that's enough! I had to clean and organize before I completely go crazy coco!

Don't you just love when things are in their place? Me to.

I will show you my process of cleaning and organizing. Mind you, I do not have the best storage system, but I make do, as of now.

I decided to create a look inspired by Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and this is what I came up with. I looked up what color ribbon this is under and I got either Pearl or Clear.

Thus came this... I added blue because I wanted some color. :)

I did a review on this brand a while back and she messaged me asking me to help spread the news that she is selling a set and some of the earnings will go towards Lung Cancer Research!

Hello readers.

Today was a neutral fall look. I love Fall and I love Fall colors. Oranges, reds, browns, and yellows. You name it!

Here is my look!

• First I used my favorite, must have eye primer, Too Faced Shadow Insurance!
• I used a crease brush and swept MAC eyeshadow in Brun(a nice deep brown) into the crease. I added more until I liked the boldness.
• Next I add Madd Style Cosmetics Birthday Suit(a nice light flesh color) on the brow bone.
• Then I added Madd Style Cosmetics Mystery Meat(a unique lighter brown) into the crease to add color.
• Last I added Madd Style Cosmetics Pish Posh(a nice glittery bieghy brown) on the lid.
• I used a black L'Oreal liner
• Lastly, I used a NEW L'Oreal mascara Voluminous Falseies Fiber

This mascara looks super sleek to me and obviously packaging/marketing is what grabs our attention. They do a great job with that.

Let's talk a bit about what this mascara has to offer:

• It has an easy applicator that really gets into your lashes and like it states above, its applicator curls into your lashes.
• The applicator is very firm.
• When you pull the applicator out the tub, there is just enough product that comes out so you do not have to worry about clumping.
• The product is not too wet or dry, so it really gives the lashes a great look.
• I have not had any problems with flaking.
• It is not only voluminous, but also lengthens very well!
• It lasts quite a long time, even thru work.
• I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try it.
• One tip for sure is to make sure you do not over do it, because that will cause clumps. Any mascara does that.
• Will it be my go to mascara? We will see. ;)
