I received a few things from 100% Pure, an amazing brand, and I am excited to review them. Their products are just up my ally!

• Customer service- great! They are nice and so generous! 
• Packaging: I was going to show a picture of the awesome way they packaged these. They made sure nothing could break and I had to dig through the packing foam, which was fun because I felt like I was searching for treasure :). The paper they were wrapped in were cute. The fact that the toner is in a glass bottle is neat. I really am impressed with this brand.
• Logo: I like their lovely logo and art on their products. They are simple, yet bold.
• Website: I love their website. Their set up is easy to look around and they have a lovely background.
• Smell: Overall, the smell of the products are great and not distracting. However, the toner is very strong if you are not big on strong smells. I like it the more I use it. Just my preference. 
• Product range- there is a variety of natural products ranging from skincare to baby care.
• Price: They are a bit pricey if you compare it to drugstore, but then again you are paying for great quality and non-toxic products. :)

My over all thought:
I love everything I got. That is a hard thing to do for me. I really enjoy how healthy and natural they make my hair look and feel. They all smell great and the samples I got have lasted a long time! I still have a bit more to use. I want the full size of everything!
I highly recommend this brand if you want natural, non toxic products for a great price and quality!

What I got:

• 6 full sized pigments in Deep Steel Teal, Fawn, Peach Ice, Midnight Plum, Orange Ice, and Creme Brulee.
• 11 bag samples of Lemon Ice, Evening Orchid, Shimmer, Angel Kissed Gold, True Gold, "Oh so metal" Antiqued Gold, Gold Dust, Honey Peach, Blue Ice Storm, Swiss Chocolate, and "Oh so metal" Antiqued Copper. 
• 2 eye shadow primers in Black and Buff.
• 1 sample of a gel eyeliner in Forest Nymph

• The Packaging- is very nice and simple. Not too pretty, but it shows how natural in nature these are. The lids are easy to open and they came nice and clean!
• The Website- it's easy to navigate and it's pretty. :)
• Customer service- she was very nice to me when she emailed me back!
• The shadows-I really liked what I got. These shadows are really smooth and pigmented. The lighter colors are more glittery than color, but they are very elegant. I would recommend this brand any day.
• The liner- I tried this on for the first time on 4th of july and it rained all day during the celebration and we went to our local town's park celebration. Through rain and sweating, this liner did not move an inch nor did it dull up. It was exactly how I put it on, not exaggerating. I was super impressed and want to get full sizes!
• The primers- these are very good. I love how I found a vegan product that works so well! They do not not crease if you do not over do it. They are smooth. One thing I found is that you need to warm them up with your finger because they are dry at first, but they warm up quickly. They blend so good!

It is nice to get deep hydration for your skin. I love lotion, but now and then I really want that dewy, soft skin that body butters can give you.

I own three body butters. I prefer to use lotion because it is quicker to use and easier to spread all over the body, however like I mentioned above, it is nice to have deeper hydration for your skin.

What I Have and Where to Get it

• Tree Hut Shea Body Butter Almond & Honey- This is a certified organic shea butter body butter with no parabens. That is nice to hear right?! This is nice and leaves my skin soft. I feel it can be a little greasy, but not bad. It smells sweet and you doesn't need too much to use all over the body. You can get this at Walmart for under $5.
• Design Line Olive Oil Body butter- I got this with a shampoo and conditioner. It smells really good and really hydrates he skin and leaves it so soft! However, it is not natural if you want natural products. But it is a good body butter. Another thing is I feel you need to use A LOT to get all over the body, which is annoying. You can get this at a salon. Not sure the price.
• f.y.i. Arbonne Body Better Mysterious Body Cream- I got this with a few other Arbonne products from my husband's aunt on our wedding rehearsal. It was so nice of her! This body "creme" is very nice and leaves my skin very soft. It smells so sweet and does not linger. It dries pretty quickly and does not feel greasy. And Arbonne is natural and has no harsh ingredients. This may be pricey, but I am not sure how much it is since I received it as a gift. You can go to arbonne.com.

I found this brand on Etsy a few weeks ago and was attracted to her natural  skincare and beauty products. I ask her if she was willing to send me samples to try things out and blog about it once I get a feel for the products. I have been wanting to try out more natural things for my body. I am caring more about what I put on my skin now a days.

What I chose
Oatmeal Scrub-I really wanted to try this out because I need to exfoliate my skin and this sounded so clean!

Hyaluronic Moisturizer- I wanted to try a good moisturizer that will protect my skin and help give it a natural hydration.

Light Tinted Moisturizer- I have been loving tinted moisturizers lately and thought I would give a natural one a try. Her motto is that makeup should not be obvious, but enhance your own natural beauty.
The packaging
I was very impressed with the packaging. It was so cute in the little bag and the samples were a very fair amount. As you can see, they are nicely packed in the containers. I love, LOVE the pumps on the moisturizers. The scrub is in a cute container and her logo is so neat. Over all, I really love how professional her packaging is and how she chose to present her product. One thing I learned in college, the more clean and well made your product is(or in my case, my artwork), the more you are saying, respect my product. She did a good job with that.

What I feel about the products
The scrub- it felt so nice and gentle on my skin. You do not need a whole lot to cover the face and it really gets my face soft after I wash it off. I mix it with my mark. brightening cleaner and I may try out Green Beauty's cleanser sometime and mix them together. I would recommend this scrub to any girl who wants to be careful with what she puts on her face.
Application: Just open the top, and dab your fingers in it a few times and rub all over your face. It is simple and quick. I would say to do this for about a min. I never stand there and do it forever.

The moisturizer- When I put it on, it seems that you need to rub it pretty quickly because it does dry fast. However, I love this product! I have combination skin. I get oily during the summer if I do not use the proper products as well as I can get dry if I am not hydrated right. This moisturizer gives me the perfect hydration and I do not seem to need it every day because it continues to give me the hydration I need for a long time. Because of my skin, I may get oily if I use it too often. One thing I do not love about it, is that is has a very strong smell the first time you use it. I am use to it now, but it sure did seem overwhelming the first night I used it. However, it is an awesome hydrator.
Application: With clean hands, pump about three small dabs and then smooth all over your face.

How has my skin reacted to these products after using them for more than a week?
I use proactiv and I have acne prone skin. That is super frustrating to me and nothing else that I have tried has worked to clear up my skin. I have not really used any natural products besides the alba line at Walmart which did not help at all. I thought I would give these a try because I worry about what I put on my skin. It just bothers me on how many ingredients are in our beauty products these days.
My skin has not really broken out, as of yet, and it seems to have liked these products. My skin is soft and not oily like it would normally do when I go off of proactiv. I will use these until the samples are up to see the total experiment result. I hope it helps my skin because of it being natural and better for me. I really enjoyed using these products and if it goes well, I plan on purchasing a few other things I looked at on her etsy shop.

Side note, this is what Mati shared with me on our esty conversation that I feel you would like to know: Did you know that if a product contains water, it should NEVER be in a jar? Water equals bacteria and mold, and fingers equals contamination. The only way the big companies get away with selling creams in jars is by putting up to 3 different parabens into the cream. So, beware of jars. Only waterless ointments and salves should be in jars.

ACNE:
My skincare journey was a rough one. It is very hard to find something that really works with your skin. Not to mention your skin changes as you age.

As a young teen, my face was very acne prone. I did not have it REAL bad like many others, but it was all over my forehead, chin, and jawline. I had the red bumps and some black heads. Nothing crazy though. I actually did not have any on my cheeks. I did not start having any on my cheeks until was out of high school, a few years ago. Which I found odd because I did not have that problem before.

Things I have tried for preventing acne:

Pretty much every drugstore brand. What was "better" out of the drugstore brands was probably clearasil. I used the pad things or the face wash.

I have tired the acne free brand that has numbered products like proactiv. That was a bad idea. I broke out really bad. I was worse than before. I thought I would try it out a little longer, but it never got better.

I tried something from the doctors and it was better, but it was like a paste thing. I didn't really like using it. I also had pills that came with it. I liked how it was better, but it still wasn't what I wanted. My was dry and I needed a good moisturizer.

I finally was able to try proactiv my senior year of high school. It really did save my life. I looked into it. I knew some people did not have a good experience, but some had really good ones. I also heard that proactiv had pretty much the same stuff in it as acne free, so that made me nervous to try it. But I was desperate. I wanted to feel pretty. I wanted to not hide anymore or feel embarrassed to be seen. Acne really does bring you down.

I saw results instantly. It wasn't clear, but my skin looked more even and finally it cleared up! Finally. After all those years. You have to keep up with it. You have to clean your face everyday, sometimes I do not and I get a few pimples. Nothing as bad as it was. If I am really good at cleaning my face, it can look almost flawless. It even took care of some of the scaring I had.

I do want to try something new, because I feel like proactiv is not working as well as before, but it really does do better than anything else I have tried.

I use the three main products, the face mask, and the green tea moisturizer. I love love love the green tea moisturizer. It is the best one out there. The mask is real good to. Try them out!

I am super sad that I have acne this bad at age 22, but all well. I will try to keep my face clean!

Other skincare I use is:

mark. see things clearly: brightening moisturizer- this feels so soft and does a good job with keeping my face hydrated.

mark. calming effect: comforting milk cleanser- this is a nice wash and smells really good! It makes your skin so soft and clean.

mark. mist opportunity: muli-tasking refresher- just a nice quick refresher. Smells good and keeps your skin healthy.

mark. body lotion- this keeps my dry legs hydrated!

Noah's naturals natural age repair: Night cream- this is a thicker moisturizer and I obviously use this a night. I do not always do this, but I like to use this time to time.

St. Ives Fresh Skin: Make-up remover and facial cleanser- This does a good job with taking off makeup. It takes a little while, but hey it is natural.

alba aloe & green tea- oil free moisturizer- This is thick, but does a good job with keeping my skin moisturized.

alba papaya enzyme- facial mask- This is not my favorite, but this mask is nice. It is thin and easy to use. It is all natural like the moisturizer.

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter-Almond & Honey- This is a really good body butter. It smells heavenly and it is certified Organic Shea butter which is plus. :) It makes my skin super soft!

I use burt's bees chap stick.

Dove body wash would be my favorite(the cool cucumber was the one I used). I am currently using Caress, but I do not really like it. It is just what I have right now.

Every thing besides the mark. skincare you can find at a drugstore. :)

I use vitamins whenever I think of it. I use the skin, hair, and nails vitamins you can find at Walmart. One a day women's or the Alive! energy vitamin for women.

Sometime I will post some natural or homemade skincare stuff I have found around the internet.
