Today I got my Too Faced Custom palette and I am already ready to do a review. It only has three products so it was not hard to get a feel for them.

What's in this palette?

  • One blush
  • Two eye shadows
  • Black glitter liner
  • I also got a sample size of Too Faced Shadow Insurance as well as two samples of Lipsticks in Cupcake and Totally Nude.
My Thoughts:
The packaging- it is cute HOWEVER, as I was taking pictures for this blog post, the mirror section started pilling off. Where the mirror is there is another section where the top part is and it starting to peel off as a flap and hang there. :( I have to push it up to open the palette. It made me sad. I can glue it back together, but it was disappointing to say the least!

The Shipping- it was a little longer than i wanted. A week and a half. It took a little while to even process the order.

The Blush- this is a nice shade of pink. It is very subtle and I like that. It is smooth and goes on easily. I was impressed with that.

The shadows- this was my favorite part of the palette. These are so smooth and pigmented! I do not need a lot to get the color on!

The glitter liner- I did not like this really. It was messy and takes a while to dry so it got all over the place. Plus, when you try to wash it off, the glitter is all over your face! Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
This is a look I did with the shadows!
Thanks for reading!

  3. Great palette, disappointing about the liner though. I only have TF Primer but I love that!

  4. Try just dotting the black glitter liner over a regular black liner. it'll still show off the black color and the glitter but will look more deep. I'm glad I got the gloss instead. I assumed their glitter liner would be like the new liquid liners from stila and mufe. I'd have been maaaaad lol
