Many of you have heard about Hurricane Irene in the East Coast of the US. I am in VA and where we are, we were completely fine. I sure hope everyone else was/is. Yesterday, I was in my room playing with makeup and came up with a few looks, one inspired by the storm.

What if you were to get a pigment collection based on your favorite tv show?! Well, Killa Monroe sure did it for me!

A few days ago, they had a contest on their facebook revealing their new collection in a fun way. I won the second part, which was a question asking what you think the collection, after finding out it is inspired by The Vampire Diaries, is called. I said Mystic Falls, and I WON!

What did I win?

• Customer Service: Lynette is super nice and was very quick at getting my prize to me. :)
• The Packaging: I did not get any full size pigments so I can't say how they are, but the clamshells she uses are ver sturdy and I have not spilled so far. Also she has the name and ingredients on the back on each one.
• The Pigments: They are gorgeous! There are two glitters which are Howling and Guardian and they are nice and easy to use. The rest are silky and smooth. The pigmentation is GREAT! She was so generous on how much she put in my clamshells! I love how glittery this collection is! 
• The collection color choice: I feel these colors are perfect for the inspiration behind it. They are so mystical and sexy just like The Vampire Diaries! Great job Lynette! My FAVORITE color from the collection is Compelled because it is such a nice soft neutral color that reminds me of some vintage wedding dress. 
• Any cons?: Nothing from what I could tell. Not perfect pigments but nothing that made me not satisfied. I did not experience any muddiness from the pigments when blending like I have on some other brands I have tried. Okay the ONLY thing about this collection that I would have liked, was having ONE matte color. I love a variety, but it's still a great collection!
• Over all thought of the brand: I highly suggest you try Killa Monroe out! Check out their facebook and let them know I sent you. :) I love all the colors and the way they easily applied to my eyes.

I entered this look into a contest and I was really satisfied with the results. It must be inspired by rocker barbie.
This was inspired by that, barbie colors purple and pink, and Jem!

I thought I would share with you all my creation!

This product is very impressive for the price.

• The packaging- it feel sturdy and not cheap. It is easy to open and nothing falls out of has broken off.
• The pigmentation- the shadows are very pigmented. I have no complaints about that.
• The application- the shadows are smooth and easy to work with. You do not need a whole lot of product to create your look, which I love! The shadows are not chalky or powdery. 
• Staying power- this shadow stays on all day and you do not need an awesome primer. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance along with Madd Style Cosmetics Awesome Sauce.
• The colors- I love these neutral colors. The middle brown is super awesome and chocolate brown. If you have not tried their shadows yet, I would recommend this trio because it's neutral and simple.
• The overall rating- I give this palette a 5/5 stars!

I was a bit bored last night, so while my hubs was doing stuff on the computer, I sat on my bed a organized my pigments the best I could! I was sick of not knowing what colors I had and not seeing what I truly had. This has helped me so much now, although I really want a train case because I have so much more than I thought. I love my new rainbow shelf. :) I use a random Walmart storage selves, the three shelved one.

This post is really exciting for me because I love these products!

I contacted Furless Cosmetics awhile, meaning this post is a bit overdue( I apologize FMB!), however they sent me a few products to review! I did not know what to expect and when I opened my packaged I was really surprised on how great their products are. Why? Because I am very hard to pleased. :)
