I used random.org to get a winner. I made sure I put the rules of the giveaway right before the rafflecopter so you all know what it was to qualify. I don't believe that it was fair to use the rafflecopter to find a winner because most people did not read my post and see the rules. I only have five who acutally did it right and it shows that people do not read and just go for the giveaway. I want you to follow my blog because you like my blog not because of a giveaway. Hey beauties!

I have been wanting to change up my hair for months now and I did cut it a little shorter a few months back, but today I decided to be bold and get it done how I wanted for awhile now. I am a little scared, because one, I have curly hair and I am picky how it is cut, and two I was scared for a change. Although I really wanted one!

With all that said, I love it! This is me after the cut and I haven't styled it the way I want yet, but it's cute. :)

I got it a little shorter in the back.

I was sent some beautiful loose shadows from MSB and they were nice enough to send me five decent sized sample jars! I could have picked whatever colors, but I asked to send me something that could be used for a night out and this is what I got:

*Important: Because I do not have a proper camera YET, I used my webcam to snatch a pic of me holding them and also do not have good pictures of me using the shadows. However, the review is my honest opinion and I will be using their shop photos of each shadow. 

• This shadow is just incredible. To me it is a silvery grey. I use it as a smokey lid color as well as a liner, but it does a great job as a light smoky high light because this color can be buildable I love buildable shadows.
• It has great pigmentation and a little goes a long way. It is a great quality pigment. 
• Lastly, the packaging is simple and easy. You can see the color on the top and the info is on the bottom, which I prefer!

• This black is a great black and has great pigmentation. However, like many blacks it can be hard to blend out because with such pigmentation, it sticks to the first spot you place it. But, with patience and determination, you can blend it to a nice, sexy smokey eye. 
• I love to use this as a liner with a medium such as Awesome Sauce from MSC, and it creates your own liner. 
• As stated above, the packaging is great.

Early in the year I first purchased from Crushed Botanicals and I also did a review on those products. I will say now that I have not been disappointed and will continue to purchase from them! With that being said I want to talk about their liquid foundation I have reviewed once before.

....that you need to hit the gym ASAP when your co-worker asks, while rubbing her tummy, "Hey, hey are you, well you know?"

NO I AM NOT PREGGERS....I just need to call up Jillian Michaels and have her kick my a$$ again(excuse my french).

Have you ever been in this situation? I am not super over weight or anything like that, but with my height, I am going down a road where pretty soon I will have a hard time getting back to a weight to where I feel comfortable. I haven't been over eating or what not and trying to be good with sweats.

I believe I finally got that lovely butt and belly stress weight that slowly creeps on you until your co worker asks if your pregnant or your co worker says, girl baby got back.


So, anyone want to start the 30 day shred with me?! Come on, you know you wanna. :)

Goal for the end of the summer: loose 15 pounds. I think I am 20 pounds now.

I am so sad I have been MIA for while now, however I thought I would share something fun. I, as many others out there are, am addicted to Pinterest. I LOVE the whole idea around it. You know, pinning everything you like and it being organized in boards so you can go back to them later. I know it has been out for some time now, but I never shared with you my beauty boards.

*sigh* It has truly been a while! I hate how busy and unmotivated I have been with blogging. I love blogging about beauty and life. However, with my new work schedule I barley even use makeup anymore. Gah, there are also some changes happening and so I have not thought of my social sites lately. It saddens me because I miss you all!

I have for you a post that will hopefully benefit you if you were considering buying from independent companies and have not yet. This will be a list of at-home companies that I believe are the best and give great service and quality products. If you are not sure how the whole indi companies work I can summarize for you:

Indi companies are founded by women or men who do what they love to do, but decided to sell it as well. Many use to make these products for themselves or family and friends and was told to sell because they were so good. Some wanted to start their own businesses purely to make some extra cash as well as create products for themselves. Their stories are all different, but what makes them the same is that they are not the big top companies and will give you great service, unless they are shady, but this list I have compiled are indi brands that can be trusted and have great products!

I have for you a Birchbox post! It has been a long time since I have done one because in Novemeber of 2011, I cancelled my subscription and subscribed to MyGlam. After three months of MyGlam, I decided it was not for me and went back to Birchbox!

Why did I go back to Birchbox? They are more reliable, have many things to offer, and simple. Plus, I was done with the over hyped MyGlam issues. MyGlam had too many problems that I was very concerned about and did not want to wait around to see if it improved. Even now they are having some issues. Perhaps someday I may try again, and also I am not trying to bash them. Lastly, I came into MyGlam too fast by giving into the hype and in the end was not pleased.

By the way, I got a March Birchbox, but never posted, sorry about that! It was a nice box. I can't find all of the products at the moment and also used some.

I recently purchased a curling wand and was so excited when I got it this week! I used my MyGlam coupon and got $100 off and it was not too pricey once it was all said and done. It was so worth the money! Although, I wish I got the 4Play because that one looks amazing! It was $20 more though.

I have been thinking a lot lately about my makeup stash and if I have too much. Then I shook my head and said of course not! However, I do think that there can be too much UNUSED makeup. You know, the makeup that you say "well I can use someday for something I am sure". So you keep it, forever, never using it.

That is why I am going through my makeup and sorting out the products that I do not use or have similar colors and probably going to sell it. If you are interested, let me know! I will post a pic of the products soon.

Tips on how to STOP having too much UNUSED products:

• When shopping, only pick out things that you know you do not have.
• Get things you actually like rather than pretending just because it is "in" for the season.
• Use unopened products as gifts.
• Remember that you have a ton of pink lipsticks and you do not need more.
